HERE BE MONSTERS theatre presents “I AM I AM I AM”, an evening of new short plays, July 31 & August 1 at 8:00 PM at Five Points Museum of Contemporary Art in Victoria. “I AM I AM I AM” is a series of short plays written and directed by Lisa DeVries, Nina Di Leo, Sam Hankins, Amanda Heinold, Skylar Jones, Joey Ochoa, and Randy Wachtel.
A property owner considers a unique living arrangement. A Texan considers her ancestry. A Greek maiden transforms. The labels we assign to others don’t stick. Humans and machines face off (once again). The plays in I AM I AM I AM center around a theme of identity: values and beliefs, crisis and growth, who gets to say who we are.
Seating is general admission and FREE, but reservations are recommended. Reserve your spot to let us know you’re coming and consider a small donation to help cover production costs.
