What is the personality of the city? How do you describe Victoria to someone who has never been here? What cultural, political, or spiritual elements are at the core of your community? As the city grows and diversifies, how is the identity of Victoria evolving? This exhibit will focus on work that addresses these questions and how they apply to the people, traditions and environment in and around the Crossroads area.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Key Dates:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><strong>Deadline for entries:<\/strong> July 13, 2018<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notification of selected participants:<\/strong>\u00a0August 3, 2018<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exhibition-ready work delivered to museum:<\/strong> August 15-17, 2018<\/p>\n<p><strong>Opening Reception:<\/strong> August 25, 2018<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exhibition Dates:<\/strong> August 25 \u2013 October 28, 2018<\/p>\n<h5><strong>How to enter:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Artists should submit a resume and up to 10 images of their work through either of the following means:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fivepointsmuseum.com\/victoria-show-application\/\">Via\u00a0the online application<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Directly to the museum, Five Points Museum of Contemporary Art at 1201 N Moody St, Victoria, TX 77901<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Eligibility and Requirements:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Artists\u00a0submitting work should live within a 100 mile radius of Victoria, Texas or have a strong connection to the area by previous residency or work.<\/li>\n<li>All artists 18 years and older, working in any media, will be considered.<\/li>\n<li>Must be original work.<\/li>\n<li>Submissions will be accepted up to 10 images.<\/li>\n<li>All chosen work must be delivered to the museum exhibition-ready, including proper hanging hardware<\/li>\n<li>Work must be available for the duration of the exhibition<\/li>\n<li>Artists are responsible for picking up their work at the conclusion of the exhibition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fivepointsmuseum.com\/victoria-show-application\/\">Go to the application now<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>Questions?
